Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Mark 7:21 – For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness.
Genesis 6 : 5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually

As you can tell from the verses above, this is not going to give anyone on this planet any kind of praise. I would like to begin, by first of all extending my prayers, and condolences to the families and all those affected by the act of James Homes in Aurora, Colorado.
In no way, is this article meant to defend him or his actions. It is not to offend the victims of the rampage either. If you have been a follower of my site for any length of time, the only people I will mention by name, are usually “bible teachers” that are heretics, and I will call them out on it, with biblical references.
That being said, this Mr. Holmes. What a tragedy. How many people went to the screening of this Batman movie? I have to confess, I have never been a fan of the Batman series. Not to say they don’t have fantastic effects and so on…but Batman has never grasped my attention. But this particular incident, when many people are out for either a late date, or are avid fans, or whatever. They could never have foreseen this. How many movies have you been to, that this could have happened the same way? I have been to I am sure, no less than 100 movies in my life….and at any point in time, my life could have ended.

Now, let’s get to the meat of the topic. I saw a post going around on Facebook, claiming that if this man was Arab (no offence meant), he would have been labeled a terrorist. If he was black, he would have been a thug. But since he is white, it’s a mental illness. While we listen to the radios and talk shows, they are trying to analyze what his young man had for breakfast that could have lead to this massacre. What was his upbringing like? Did his parents abandon him emotionally and now he’s taking it out on the world?
What about his apartment what was made with bomb material so that anyone entering in, would have ended their life prematurely?

There is also major talk about banning guns in the US now thinking that will prevent this from happening. Can I make a quick suggestion here, no banning of guns will prevent this. The person that wants to pull this off, will find the mechanisms needed to succeed. Legally, or illegally. You see, when someone wants to break the law, they are not concerned with any other law at hand. If someone wants to rob a store, and doesn’t have a gun or a knife with which to use as either an intimidating tool, or to actually hurt someone, he doesn’t usually care if his gun or knife is stolen or not. He’ll steal one if he has to. So putting the bans is just an added control to the society that already has somewhat of a moral control on themselves in the first place.

To go back to the earlier point of different races would be labeled a different title associated with the action (Arab – terrorist, Black – thug, Caucasian – mental illness).
What I see here, is a completely racist attack. Don’t believe me? Well, the Caucasian one according to this is the only one that didn’t have self control. All the other ones did, so therefore, it’s in the nature of the other races to commit this kind of crime. They may not have labeled it thinking it was a racist attack, but it is.

Here’s another problem I see with labeling Mr. Homles as a mental illness patient, it’s excusing the sin in his heart. Oh this young man was deranged, there was something not ticking in head properly. He didn’t grow up in the correct environment and therefore was exposed to more violence.

My friend, this society (North America for sure) has kicked God out of the public school system. And replaced Him with evolution. Now there are no consequences for actions. If you do bad, or don’t perform, you are still pushed to the next grade. If you disobey in school, the teachers can’t discipline you. Doesn’t matter how they did it, years ago, you were reprimanded for bad actions. Now the law has given the student more rights than the teachers or the parents. And this in turn has turned our society even more upside down than it has ever been.

My question is, if you don’t believe in God, why are you judging this man’s actions as evil? You have no standard by which to judge him. If evolution was going to be true, and you are to be consistent, there is no such thing as wrong or right. So for someone to come to me and tell me that James did evil, they MUST borrow from my theological standpoint (belief in God) to justify their judgment. The actions of this man, were in his heart for possibly a long time. As the verses say above, we can’t blame anyone else but that person. He’s the one that followed through, he’s the one that killed and he’s the one that’s guilty before a Holy God. If we keep blaming society for all the “mentally ill” in this world…where does it end? However, if consequences were taught again, you do the crime, you do the time, there were no doubt be less crime committed.

That brings me to my final point. There is a reason Christ died on that cross 2000 yrs ago. For this exact reason. We cannot make ourselves right with God, we are full of bad thoughts. You don’t believe me? What was your thought about James when you heard about the news. Hang him? Electrical Chair? Lethal Injection? Send him to his own apartment and set it off? Leave him in the hands of the victims surviving families? Did I make my point? We ALL have evil in our hearts, Romans 3:23 says this and if you permit me to say it…it fits the bill. My friend, won’t you look to the cross, and cry out to Christ for salvation from your sin.If you have any questions about what salvation is, who Christ was, the cross, God or evolution.
