If I Am A Christian, Isn’t Everyone Suppose To Like Me?

Here’s a topic that often comes up in conversations. From all spectrums, we have “today’s” Christian, that loves everyone, goes to church and tells everyone “I respect your faith or religion” And you have the “legalistic or narrow minded” Christian that says, “ Jesus is the only way, and your way is wrong”.

How do we reconcile the 2 of them. We can’t. There are many many religions out there. However, there is only one way according to Christ. According to John 14:6, He claims to be the only way to heaven. He is the truth, the life and the way.
He also finishes that verse by saying that No one can come to the Father but by Him. This is a radical claim to make.
Now let’s forward 2000 yrs. Everyone now is accepting everyone else’s religion for peace sakes. No one wants to make war with anyone else. They all want to be accepted. Even Oprah mentioned once on her show that there couldn’t possibly be just one way. Sorry Oprah, to enter your house, I am sure there is one front door by which we must enter. If we tried by some of your various windows, we would be classified as an intruder and I am sure your security guards would have their way with us.

Billy Graham recently denied Christ as the only way as well. So did a few catholic priests and rabbis on Larry king, the links will be provided.What is the reason for all this? So that we don’t cause some form of hate. Well, Jesus was very clear when He said in John 15:18, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before you.

This tells me right off the bat, that if I am preaching a gospel that wants to make friends with everyone and doesn’t offend them because of their sins (Romans 3:23) I am not preaching the same gospel Jesus did.
His gospel had a final earthly destination of the cross. He suffered and died there because He preached a true gospel that NO ONE wanted to hear.No one wanted to hear that there was only one way. Everyone had a religion or traditions then and they didn’t want to hear that they were wrong. I personally hate hearing that I am wrong about something, but have always been humble enough to admit it when I am.

But I have a Muslim friend, awesome guy, however, if I tell him he’s wrong in his beliefs, I don’t even want to think of where the conversation would go.  I do know he would not look at me as a friend as he does now.The God of the bible is the only God. He gives no room for competition and for the people that believe in evolution Peter wrote about them as well. 2 Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as from the beginning of the creation. This addresses those that things are billions of years old. Now there is enough evidence against it if you do even a little research. I did it unbiased for about 6 months, and for every 2 questions I could answer, there were about 10 I could not.

Dear friend, please read this with care. God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap).You MUST be born again (John 3:7) otherwise, eternal destruction will be your final destiny.
