Closed Minded Christians?

Why are born again Christians so closed minded toward other theologies and mythologies.
To put it simply, all the other ones are false. They all preach a work based salvation, try to boost one’s self esteem and worth, give confidence and tell you you can do it if you just put your mind to it. And ultimately, if you strive hard enough, long enough, you will get what you desire and you might attain heaven or paradise.

Here’s the issue with that. No matter how you look at it, if everyone is right, there is no more truth. Truth used to be that one element was correct (it’s hot, it’s cold, it’s that way, it’s this way) and all the other ones were wrong. But now, this isn’t so anymore.

Everyone can be right, therefore eliminating the concept of truth altogether. The increasing popularity of “you do what’s right for you and I will do what is right for me” and that way we ALL get along.

The thought process is that there would be some peace on earth, there is only 1 God. If there was more than one, would there not be battles in the heavens amongst them? And if they (assuming there would be more than one) battled, would not the after effects seriously have some consequences on us here on the planet earth?

For instance, in the book of Exodus in the bible (simply for argument sake) Moses wants to convince Pharaoh that his people (Hebrews) want to leave Egypt to worship their God. Pharaoh then suggests to do it within Egypt, to which Moses then says “the sacrifices we will be offering to our God, are they not abominations to the Egyptians, and will they not stone us”?

Point being made that the Egyptian gods were in conflict with the Hebrew God. And that’s only 1 god. How do you draw logic that 1000?s of gods would all be in accord?

Now most might disagree with myself, but what is interesting is that every country has their own gods. One web site I found listed 154 gods that the Chinese worship, Greeks worshipped well over 370 even though they only had 12 official ones. Egypt had over 2 000.

And those are only some of the countries on our planet. How many gods does a person need to worship and adore?. Say they did exist, how on earth could you please such a broad variety of them? No doubt some of them wanted something a different one didn’t want. Some might have wanted you to eat things the others found filthy.

And they are created by man as man has more and more needs, and they are ignored as man’s needs are answered. There is absolutely nothing consistent about them. Now, I will not deny that there are some witch doctors from other nations that have some unearthly powers. Many first eye accounts have been witnessed and documented. However, the only other spirit working outside of God realm is Satan.

And he will give you anything in his power for you to ignore the call of God unto salvation. God is the only God that ever existed, is existent and will ever exist. And saying you don’t believe it or agree with it doesn’t change that fact.

You can NOT believe in gravity, jump off a roof, and you will see the evidence. Same holds true with God, don’t believe in Him now, and don’t believe His word, and don’t trust in His Son for your salvation through His blood, and you will see the evidence upon your death. Unfortunately it will be too late.

Please, I am pleading with readers to see your sins as God sees them and repent from them and turn to Christ for the salvation of your soul.
